Daylight Saving - Dramedy at Garrick Theatre
Tue, 25 May 2010, 12:05 amWell, the Preview of the Garrick Theatre's next production is on Wednesday night. But don't bother trying to see it, because it's sold out!
BUT, there are nine other performances just waiting for you to come check it out. Daylight Saving is a Dramedy - a funny drama that's also kinda thought-provoking and interesting, It's written by Nick Enright who also wrote the stage versions of 'The Boy From Oz', 'Cloudstreet' and 'The Venetian Twins'.
We have assembled an amazing cast. Garrick regulars will recognise names like Michele Acott, Rodney Van Groningen and Rob Whitehead - seasoned performers. Carol Harris is returning to Garrick after her 'Amigos' debut. The show also features two remarkable newcomers. Esther Longhurst is an experienced actor making her debut on the Garrick stage. She plays the demanding lead role of Flick and she will blow your mind. Omer Reshid is a high school student who plays the quirky role of Jason with great aplomb.
Come check it out - arrive early for your free port or sherry - and stay for a drink at the bar. Tickets are $15/$12. Check out this link for more info.
