Waterdale Originals script submissions now open!

Waterdale Originals is an exciting annual project of SPX Waterdale Players Inc (WATERDALE) which encourages young people to write, develop, direct and perform 8-15 minute short plays. In celebration of the fifth year of the project WATERDALE is offering $1000 to the play judged by audience vote to be the best. From the script entries, 10 plays will be selected by a panel nominated by WATERDALE, scripts will be adjudicated anonymously with the panel unaware of the writers of the script at the time of selection. The most popular play is judged by audience vote and is awarded a $1000 prize at the conclusion of the final show in late September. WATERDALE is now accepting submissions of scripts.
