it was noted, with some concern, that while the meeting was fairly well attended, very few of the member clubs had bothered to send  any representatives to the meeting. The represented clubs were:

Blak Yak,Old Mill, Playlovers, Roleystone , Stirling Players , Mesh Theatre Co, and one undecipherable signature which was, I think- Wanneroo - out of 27 Metro clubs only 7 has bothered. Of the country clubs- there was one metro representative- Stage Left!!

It's so boring correcting

It's so boring correcting the spelling and grammar on here, after all I was under the impression that it was far more conversational and 'chatty'. Although, I dare say I will get a tongue lashing (I should be so lucky) from one or two of you for saying the following... I do feel that people do get a perverse sense of satisfaction from correcting other people. I believe it gives them an air of superiority, a higher status if you will (although very rarely in person, maybe they don't get out enough). This is all fine, and of course, completely acceptable,it's just, it does make those players seem quite arrogant...it's not needed. Maybe there is a need though. A need to be seen as learned, when I read the above, I must admit, I can imagine them writing it, thinking that they have the wit and sophistication of Oscar Wilde. I assume they see themselves as a hoot, an intellectual armed with the power to spot errors, errors created by those that have unfortunately mis-spelt a word! Also, I do imagine that they are wearing fish net stockings, everything just jim jammed together! A kind of manly soup being created...especially in this heat! Anyway, keep up the banter but maybe just tone down the online marking service. C-ya, woont, wanna, bee ya!
