MEAA Workshop Opportunity for NSW and Victoria

It will be an opportunity to refresh your audition technique and develop skills in a workshop environment.  Working with UK based Gary Davy will also give you an insight into the UK casting experience.

Delegates will split into groups and experience both UK and Australian perspectives. Delegates will bring their own audition piece to work on with Ann and Gary.

Dates:
NSW:  Monday 1 March – 9.45 am for 10.00 am to 5.30 pm (venue tbc)
Victoria:  Wednesday 3 March – 9.45 am for 10.00am to 5.30 pm (venue tbc)

Speaker Biographies :

Gary Davy, Casting Director, Gary Davy Casting
UK based casting director, Gary’s casting credits include: Sweeney Todd, Tripping Over, The Proposition and Hunger.   Gary is working on various UK/Australian co-productions at the moment in addition to being an Assistant Producer with production company SIZE 9.  Gary was the UK casting director for Band of Brothers for which he won the Emmy for “Outstanding Casting for a mini-series, movie special.
