Editor for ITA Link

From next month the ITA will require a new Editor for the monthly ITA LINK.

As most people now know, Melanie De Cull who has been doing a wonderful job since the disastrous start to 2009, is about to start her own magazine of the Arts and consequently will be unable to continue with the LINK.

Is there someone out there with the time/energy/will to take on this important task of keeping us all informed- and yes I know there's Facebook, Twitter and all the rest but believe me the LINK is still an important part of the dissemination of local theatre information!

If you feel that you'd like to fulfil a really much needed gap then please contact the Secretary- me - on davisrn@people.net.au

Thank you for at least reading this.

Would but Can't

I'd offer but I have far too much on my hands already.

As would I...

...but I'd also need a very good editor to rein in my own peculiar brand of asinine gibberish... El.

Would but can't

Ditto,Jeff,

I edited the Link for two years and certainly don't deny that it's hard work- which is presumably why our would-be Editor for 2009 faded out so early in the piece.

Come On

Come on people, surely in this field of endeavour we can find someone with some artistic and journalistic flair to do this job. Everyone that has done the job of collating the newsletter have all gone on to better things after the steep learning curve that is the ITA newsletter. Sharon Malcolm went on to...motherhood and a new job. Norma Davis went on to...Managing another zillion tasks elsewhere! Alan Morris went on to...starting a printing business...oh..hang on...he was doing that already! But...you get what I mean...it is definitely a job where you learn real hands on life skills!! You can impress people by putting it on your cv for that 6 figure PA salary youve always had your eye on!!! Ring Now!....Beat the Rush! Unfortunately we no longer can offer the free steak knives.

Come On - Correction

"Unfortunately we no longer can offer the free steak knives." Unless you are willing/able to pull them out of your own and the rest of the ITA Committees backs! ;-)

Come On - Correction II

Previous post is meant to imply that ITA Committee and Link Editor are targets for backstabbing Not that they are backstabbers themselves Thought I'd better clear that up on rereading :-)

I actually did write that

I actually did write that but thought better of it.
