i thought it was self explanatory but here we go... the point is... "it costs $39.95 per year"
clear enough?
just pointing out that it is a paid site... no judgement either way as i believe sites such as showcast and agency websites are a great way to promote yourself or find out more about the industry and they are all "paid for" in some way... guess i thought i was lending a hand to those who may not realise by pointing it out but (clearly for some)... guess not.

I'm familiar with the website, which is why I didn't understand the point of posting about its fees. Pretty much all of these sites have fees (maybe I just take it as a given).
My question was more in relation to a suspicion of trolling than anything else. Usually these comments are someone's idea of angling for something. Apologies for jumping the gun.

Helpful Walter
I think this Walter was trying to be helpfully informative for any unawares persons. After all, it is rather disappointing to see "WIN TICKETS TO SEE ..." and then find you have to pay some sort of registration fee just to be able to enter, and I am not just talking about Theatre/Acting related sites.
At least people reading Walter's statement will be forewarned if they are not familiar with the site. Then they can choose if they want to pay the registration fee for a chance to win tickets.
