"Deckchairs" By Jean McConnell Directed by Peter Kirkwood Five twist-in-the-tail short plays for two women all set on a seaside promenade that are by turns both funny and poignant. In 'Shoppers', two well to do shopaholics have a surprising secret. 'Early Bright' is a heartbreaking exploration of a doomed mother daughter relationship. 'Dancers' wittily dissects the tea dancing world of two skittish widows. In 'Late Frost', a woman finds out her best friend has an affair with her late husband. 'Doggies' is a hilarious tale about two dog owners. This will be our first production at our new home in the Port Cinema (near Clancy's Pub, opposite Woolworths). SEASON DATES: 5th to 20th March 2010 (TBC)
