DEADLINE Extended for 21 Summer Nights

To coincide with The Blue Room's 21st Birthday in 2010, a new and improved 21 Summer Nights will return, Monday - Friday in February/March. That's 21 nights of spoken word, monologues, cabaret, theatre, music, games and good times!
 
CALLOUT for Performance
If you've got a performance project you're keen to develop, consider our Monday night Studio spot. Develop your 'show' over a six week period at The Blue Room, including two weeks of rehearsal time, leading up to four Monday night performances (ticket price negotiable) 22 Feb - 15 Mar, 2010.
 
This opportunity is open to Blue Room members, or artists willing to become members, to develop and showcase a performance of any genre.

Please supply a 1-2 page description of your proposed performance by Monday 2 November to PO Box 8369 PBC WA 6849; 53 James St Northbridge; or kerry@blueroom.org.au

 

CALLOUT for Music

Due to a host of recent inquiries, we're opening The Blue Room Studio to musicians for a limited time only.

If you've ever wanted to showcase your music in an intimate theatre setting, The Blue Room Studio is being offered on Thursdays during 21 Summer Nights at no cost to artists. The Blue Room Studio is a black box performance space, with seating for 50 people, situated within The Blue Room Theatre in the Perth Cultural Centre.

This series of one-night-only opportunities is open to music acts of any genre who are keen to escape the noisy pub environment and have their music showcased in front of a dedicated audience.

To apply for one of our Thursday night Blue Room Studio spots, please submit your act's CV/bio (1–2 pages) with recorded example/s of your work (if available) to The Blue Room by Monday 2 November: mail to PO Box 8369 PBC WA 6849; deliver to 53 James St Northbridge; or email kerry@blueroom.org.au .
