Musical Theatre 4 You Workshops ESPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SOUGHT…… Nathan M. Wright and Andrew Bevis are presenting a wonderful opportunity to define and develop a greater understanding of what is required to work as a performer in the Musical Theatre Industry here in Australia. We are offering 4 three-hour classes from mid September through to October. This is a great chance to gain advice on what is required in a professional audition situation and the daily run of a show. You will spend the classes working through song choice, presentation and scene work. Participants will learn group vocal numbers and also present their own solo song choices for evaluation and feedback as well as new suggestions to expand repertoire. Dance is such a strong element in musical theatre so you will learn great tips on how to prepare and learn correct style and feel for different genres. Through ‘Mock auditions’ using the real steps and material from present Musical Theatre shows you will learn how to best present what you have to offer as an auditionee. There will be Guest Speakers discussing different departments involved in the day to day running of a musical theatre show. The program will be presented in an Inner West Location on four consecutive Monday or Tuesday Nights running September through to October. Classes will be limited to a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20. Starting at 6.30 and finishing at 9.30pm. Cost is $375.
