What really is “The Method?” In 4 days you will gain a true understanding of Lee Strasberg’s “Method” and will learn how to immediately begin applying it to your own acting work, whatever your level or school of training. You will see first hand how simple adjustments can have tremendous effects on the outcome of your work and your confidence as an actor. We will cover script analysis techniques and explore Stanislavski’s and Strasberg’s exercises such as relaxation, sense memory, emotional memory, personal objects, overall sensations and more. We will also focus on the importance of training the physical, mental and emotional aspects of the actor’s instrument througha “Method” that will not just enhance your acting work, but also your life in art.

Robert Hallak began his acting career under the tutelage of Lee Strasberg in New York City. Shortly after they met, Mr. Strasberg invited Robert into his home and his life. The two became good friends, and Robert became his next protégé; he would turn out to be the last. They worked closely together until Mr. Strasberg’s death in 1982. Robert has been committed to continuing the work of his late mentor, and for the past 25 years he has not only been working as a professional actor, but has also been teaching master classes and coaching actors throughout the world.

Robert presently teaches acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute Los Angeles
