Mon, 29 June 2009, 06:34 pmCalling all Western Australian peforming artists and workers aged between 18-25: registrations for the Propel Youth Arts Amplifier Business workshops now opens July 7!!
hroughout August and September, Propel Youth Arts is running a series of workshops and forums to help youth performing artists and artsworkers "sharpen their business skills".
Supported by the Foundation for Young Australians, Amplifier workshops will cover:
- Made By Design - developing your arts project
- ITNet - development and design
- Pimp My Project - marketing know how
- Growing Money on Trees - how to get that grant
- Arts Law and Order - what you need to know
- Event 101 – make your event happen
Forums will address major topics including Arts Survival - making it in the arts world and being an entrepreneur and Creative Collectives – profiling the formats of creative collectives and their operations.
