Apology from the ITA

Dear 'all members of the ITA'

Firstly, our apologies for the delay in the delivery of the ITA LINK. We are having a few problems which we are hoping to have ironed out very soon. In the meantime I am writing to inform you of some items which concern the ITA and therefore all members  over the coming months...
Firstly, the proposed Interact weekend which we had hoped to be able to organize in association with WAAPA has had to be postponed, probably to about March 2010 as WAAPA have too much going on to be able to co-operate with us as initially planned.
YOUTHFEST 2009 will be held on Saturday September 19 th. Darlington Theatre Players will be this year’s hosts, and Ms. Kerri Hilton will be the 2009 Adjudicator for this event. Forms will be available soon. This year we have decided to put entry forms on-line. However we still need the completed forms to be sent in by post.
 DRAMAFEST: The Venue is still to be finalized, but we are please to say that this year’s Adjudicator will be the Artistic Director of Black Swan Theatre, Ms. Kate Cherry.
Dates: September 25 – 28^th. Expressions of interest forms will be sent out in the next few weeks. The South-West Festival will be held two weeks earlier than this, September 12-13 at the New Lyric Theatre ,Bunbury. Information has already been sent to all clubs about this.
An initiative of Felicity May will be a theatrical make-up course, run by an experienced TAFE Lecturer, provided we can gather sufficient support for this. It is not without cost however and so we are hoping that clubs will consider supporting this by sending at least one member to complete it. Details are avaialble by contacting myself at the address at the end of this letter
.PRESIDENT’S EVENING: following this highly successful event held last year, we are holding another one on SUNDAY MAY 31^st, at City-West Lotteries House; from 7.30 pm. Invitations are on the way.
QUIZ NIGHT: This year the ITA is to hold a fund-Raising “Grand Fancy-Dress Quiz Night" in June. Details are on the what's on section and we urge everyone to support this night.
TREADING THE BOARDS: This showcase of community theatre will be held on August 14^th or 15^th, and once again Playlovers will be the venue. Tyler Jones will be the overall organizer for this event and further details will be available soon.
MEMBERSHIP FEES: will soon be due, July 1^st marks our new Financial Year” and renewal forms will be sent out next month. Fees remain the same for this year.
