Old Mill's Romeo and Juliet - and the weather!
Thu, 19 Mar 2009, 03:22 pmThe latest bulletins from the Bureau of Meteorology indicate that the Romeo and Juliet performance scheduled for Friday 20th March may be affected by weather. Due to the nature of both the venue and the production, we will not be able to perform if it rains. The Old Mill Theatre is monitoring the situation, and will make a decision regarding this as soon as possible.
For those people that have already purchased tickets for Friday 20th July and have left their contact details with BOCS, you will be notified if there is a cancellation. If this occurs, your tickets will be transferrable to any other performance date.
Alternatively, if you are willing to change your plans at short notice, please feel free to attend the production tonight (Thursday 19th March) instead.

romeo and juliet has been cancelled for tonight
Fri, 20 Mar 2009, 06:40 pmThe recent heavy showers have taken everyone (including the Bureau of Meteorology it seems) by surprise.
We have just checked the venue and the ground is too wet to continue with the production, and there is no guarantee that showers won't continue into the evening.
All those that have purchased tickets will be able to transfer them to another evening.
Apologies - it seems the theatre gods weren't smiling on us after all.
