Romeo & Juliet-Shakespeare in the open-air by the Swan river opened last night.

Audience reaction was fantastic with a standing ovation at 'curtain -call'

Setting magical, accompanied by a chorus of frogs from the nearby wetlands! Trio Grosso enhanced the atmosphere with music from the period playing throughout.

The fight scenes were awesome- they were REAL!!

I believe there were a few tears at the lovers deaths.

Venue: Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth Esplanade- about 200 m east of the Mends Street jetty (just past the childrens playground)

Tickets from BOCS 9484.1133 or at the gate from 6.30 pm Bring a picnic to enjoy beforehand.

Saturday March 21 fairly heavyily booked at this stage, but currently still room!
