Wed, 18 Feb 2009, 10:26 pmMandurah Theatre Academy is celebrating its opening with FREE Drama Workshops, on Sunday the 22nd of February.
Mandurah Theatre Academy(MTA) invites youth aged 8 – 17 to become members of a new and exhilarating group and be part of the future plans for youth in performing and visual arts.
The aim of Mandurah Theatre Academy is to provide a fun and dynamic drama program that develops Self-Confidence, Communication Skills and Creativity in children.
The Academy will run lessons such as Acting for Stage, Film and Screen, Audition Techniques, Improvisation, Movement and Creative Expression, Voice Development, Character Development, Circus Skills, Props Making and Performance Showcases. These are only a few of the techniques covered by this unique theatre academy with the aim of creating confident, well rounded performers.
