International Performing Arts Training Week in Slovenia

Practical workshops, presentations, lectures, video demonstrations, discussions.
The programe is open to performers from various creative genres, teachers and senior students.
There are a few places with reduced participation fee for young performers.
• Physical Theatre Laboratory "Performer's Physicality in methods of Stanislavsky, Meyerhold and M.Chekhov" - intensive practical training with Sergei Ostrenko - theatre director and teacher (Russia).
• Dramatic Monologues: Friel and the Greek Example - workshop with Rush Rehm - actor, director, teacher, and Courtney Walsh - actress (USA).
• Opening Up Inside - workshop with Tony Cealy - theatre and arts practitioner, workshop facilitator and trainer (UK).
• Study the Culture to Understand the Dance; Study the Dance to Understand the Culture. The Art Form and Presentation of Tap Dance - lectures/demonstrations with Colleen West - dancer, choreographer, teacher (USA).
• New Paradigms of Performance Matrix. Embodying Ideas - Acting for Dancers, Dancing for Actors - workshop and lecture with Slobodan Dan Paich - dance maker and theater director (USA).
• No Separation of Church and Dance - presentation with Noelle Partusch - dancer, choreographer, teacher (USA).
REGISTRATION
To apply for participation, candidates should send CV/résumé with photo and a letter of motivation (in Word or PDF format) stating the dates of the event to globtheatre@gmail.com
If you are applying for discount, please include the request in your cover letter.
The event will take place in Bovec, the mountain resort in Slovenian Alps within the Triglav National Park - one of the most beautiful places in Europe. Hotel accommodation and meals are provided for participants.
PARTICIPATION FEE
Two options are available - with hotel accommodation in single room or shared twin room.
Fee with accommodation in shared twin room:
750 EUR if payment is made before February 20th.
850 EUR if payment is made before February 27th.
The fee covers attendance of the programme, eight (8) nights of hotel accommodation in shared twin room (two persons share one room), two meals per day (breakfast and lunch), free access to hotel swimming pool and gym, and farewell buffet.

870 EUR if payment is made before February 20th.
970 EUR if payment is made before February 27th.
