Zombies needed in Perth
Mon, 16 Feb 2009, 06:52 pmWe need Zombies in Perth
Next Big Shoots are in March(on weekends)
and we need HEAPS of zombies so tell your friends.
IMPORTANT WARNING!
Please note! You will be working as a volunteer and not an actor. You will not oficially be an employee of any company and therefore will not be covered by all the insurances that go along with being employed!!!
We're not doing anything massively dangerous. The most dangerous thing we may ask you to do is to fall down on grass and only then if you're up for it. BUT please consider the above. If lightning did strike you on our set - literally - you wouldn't be convered by workers compensation.
You'll be required to sign a release stating that you are aware of the above and consent to be included in the final release of the film for no reward.
What is involved?
The scene we are shooting is pretty simple and straight forward. The way the day will pan out is as follows.
You'll arrive, meet the other zombies and get made up (makeup)
You may be asked to sit around and be quiet for a while, while other scenes are shot.
You'll have your moment of glory (which may not even end up in the final film).
We'll say thankyou!
It's very important for legal reasons that it's clear that you won't be paid at all. But it is safe for us to say that we'll be extremely grateful to everyone who helps us out and if there is a chance for us to return some love to our unpaid volunteers at some stage in the future (like when the film is released or even when the next film is released - we have long memories) we'll try and give away some free tickets or merchandise. Please note - this is not a guarantee and we may bomb totally.
If you are interested at all please drop Dave a line directly (via email with a photo of you attached) at the address below.
