Audition - Joe Egg
Sun, 15 Feb 2009, 05:01 pmHi fellow thespians!
Class Act Theatre is putting on a profit-share production of Peter Nichols' black comedy set in the UK in the 1960's.
Directed by Stephen Lee, it will be playing at the Subiaco Arts Centre Studio June 2 to 21.
For this production, we will be rehearsing on weekends and evenings starting at the end of March/beginning of April.
I apologize for the group email - but if you have worked with Stephen before you do NOT have to audition - just let me know if you are interested in a role and I will pass your name onto him. (It is hard to know who is available or even interested in co-op work!)
We are mainly looking for men and women around 30 to 50. Also, a woman over 65 and a young girl who can play the challenging role of a severely disabled child.
The lead role of Bri is very large and needs a man with great comic ability.
For those wishing to audition - here are the details:
Sat 21 March (not Feb!)
Blue Room Theatre - James St, Northbridge
Prepare - a modern monologue of at least 20 lines that you know well.
Bring - CV and photo
Contact me (details below) to book in an audition time
I look forward to hearing from some of you soon!
