Auditions for MACBETH (Campbelltown NSW)

MACBETH Directed by John Michael Burdon www.macbethctgi.synthasite.com www.ctgi.org.au Campbelltown Theatre Group Inc's next production of Macbeth (with a cast of youth and adult mixed)will be auditioning on the 24th and 25th February 09 Youth must be the age of 12 - 18 at time of auditions. Adults may be any age. Characters will be cast on look and talent (not age) thus any person of any age may go for any character. There are 32 roles available (16 male and 16 female). There are also 6 - 9 dancer roles so if you are a little intimidated by the language but would still like to be involved, please come along. There is a lot of stage combat and sword play for both male and females to participate in. Non-paying but you will be working with industry professionals. This is a gothic modern interpretation featuring songs from Nine Inch Nails, Garbage, Portishead, The Butterfly Effect, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, Helmet, Prodigy, The Cure and much more All make up, costuming will be modern goth and you will most likely sport a temporary tribal tattoo for four weeks while the show is on.
