The Biz Of Showbiz Voiceover training program, headed up by Andrew Carlton, is Australia’s only program that has a proven track record of achieving agent representation and work in the business for their graduates. The Biz Of Showbiz only do a couple of their Voiceover Weekend Intensive Seminars a year. The next is planned for November. We have two dates to choose from. Those dates are November 7th-10th and November 21st-24th. The 4 day seminar (Fri & Mon nights and Sat & Sun days) takes place at Sydney’s top post production studios - Sound Reservoir at Wharf Studios. The course introduces you to your unique sound and how to use it in the required voiceover styles. Other subjects include microphone technique and script analysis. As we are “business” training company, there is also a strong focus on the important business aspects of entering the industry- how to make a demo that will get noticed by the industry, how to get an agent, how to actually start working as a professional voiceover artist. Of course a lot of the weekend is spent in the recording booth where you get to experience first-hand how to handle a recording session working with an engineer, a director and a million dollars worth of equipment.
