THE SMOKER SHORT FILM (FOR TROPFEST) AUDITIONS Dates: Saturday the 25th of October & Sunday 26th of October Location: 1/1350 (through the side and up the stairs) Rocky Point Road, Rockdale Logline: In a world of lies and deception, one woman learns the value of truth when she meets a complete stranger. Character Analysis: Main character actors ( Melanie / David / Tony / Dealer ) will need to be actors with reasonable experience performing in drama and comedy, preferably in film. MELANIE (understudy) Early 30's business woman, a bit similar to Jessica Parker in SAC. DAVID Early 30’s business man, preppy. Melanie’s boyfriend. MAITRE’D Squat and obsequious, late 50's TONY The hobo look, mid 30's. He wears shabby dirty clothes but his face is toned and well fed. FEMALE SMOKER Late 40’s, motherly type.
