Apoca-list Now

Did you make the Apoca-list ? This is the list of people who have all in some way contributed, by nature of their web posts, to the new show ‘Apocalypse Perth’ opening this Thursday the 23rd October. If you’re there on the list, or if you read anything that anyone said, and in any way gave criticism, passed judgement, commented, joked, argued, defended, asked a question, flamed, trolled, or simply followed the discussion in disbelief , then you owe it to yourself to come and see this show in person and make up your own mind (or change your mind, if it was already made up). This is the midpoint. So much has been said by knowledgeable contributors before the show has even previewed….it’ll be interesting to compare that with opinions formed AFTER seeing the show! Craig Williams has listed EVERYONE who has posted to threads about APOCALYPSE PERTH and the original thread that inspired the play. NOTE, in the play APOCALYPSE PERTH, we have used the words of people who contributed to the ORIGINAL THREAD ONLY and who we were able TO CONTACT AND GET THEIR PERMISSION. And, at the request of some contributors, some remain anonymous in the play. My glib threat to use people's recent posts was not serious. (http://www.theatre.asn.au/billboard_bulletins/it_doesnt_sound_like_a_very_interesting_concept_for_a_play) jeffhansen contributed to that thread and we have not used any of those comments; it was too late, the play was already written and rehearsals well underway. I apologise if Craig's post gives the mistaken impression that we have used comments from those recent threads about APOCALYPSE PERTH. I think Craig's point is still valid: those who contributed to the recent threads about APOCALYPSE PERTH have become a part of the ongoing discussion around our project.
