ARTRAGE: THE 24 HOUR PROJECT Writers, directors, performers, musicians, animators and filmmakers are thrust together into several teams and given 24 hours to create, fight and fumble their way towards surprising and original mini-masterpieces. The clock stops ticking, and audiences are there to view an unpredictable program of plays, films and animation that are still hot from the oven. The writer has 12 hours to come up with something; then the actors and director go away to rehearse for 12 hours, ready to perform from Sunday evening on October 19. Doors open 7pm; show starts at 7.30pm at The Bakery Artrage Complex, 233 James Street, Northbridge. Tickets $15, $10 concession. Tickets through Heatseeker or at Mills: 9335 1945; Planet: 9328 7464; Star Perth: 9321 6230; www.heatseeker.com.au - or try your luck at the door. It's grab bag of delights - you never quite know what you're going to get... lemon sourball, Turkish delight or peppermint twist? http://www.artrage.com.au/festival/view/silver/event/23
