Hi I was wondering if there is anyone here who has gone to the UK and has studied acting? If so how did you do it/afford it? because all I can see is that they are all fill time (mon-fri 8:30 - 5pm). As living expenses are high in london it would be hard to study there and work and make ends meat paying for fees and living expenses. i was wanting to talk to someone who has done it because i am looking at doing it next year. does anyone know if there are any acting degrees that are offered part time or on evenings and weekends? thanks Tas

There are a number of universities who offer information for international students on their website, including stuff about employment and making ends meet: why not start there first? For example (Central School of Speech and Drama in London): http://www.cssd.ac.uk/pages/is_working.html Additionally, a number of unis would offer scholarships, and you can also try to get sponsorship from an organisation over here. I'm sure there are heaps of P/T and weekend classes you could take, but it obviously depends on where you go and what you want to study; I'm not going to even try to post a list since it would be quite long.
