BOCS BOLLOCKS - Errol Flynn
Wed, 16 July 2008, 11:36 pmLots of friends have reported that they have tried to book for 'Errol Flynn's Great Big Adventure Book for Boys' through BOCS Ticketing, only to be told it is sold out. IT IS NOT SOLD OUT!
For example, Saturday 19 is shown on the bocsticketing website as SOLD OUT, yet the returns to Harbour say there are only 4 seats sold. What the....is going on here? SABOTAGE I say!!
So, if you want to see 'Errol' but have been put off by BOCS, try your luck at the door. Chances are you'll get in, thanks to the bocs saboteurs. The worst that can happen is that you might have to spend the evening in Clancy's next door - come to think of it...hmmmm!!!
As Errol would say, "God, I HATE you (sabotaging) BASTARDS!"
BOCS - Sold out notices
Sat, 19 July 2008, 02:14 pmHaving experienced this BOCS notice, I investigated with BOCS to be told that BOCS web bookings close at ~ 4pm on Weekdays, early on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays and (?)Public Holidays. Thereafter they cannot sell any more tickets until their next working day,and the SOLD OUT notice takes over. They cannot advise callers to ring the theatre, or check when the Box Office opens etc because that might inconvenience a lot of people, and indeed the show could be SOLD OUT! So for Amateur theatre I've found it best to give your regular clients a Company number they can call to reserve seats (after 4pm for that evening and at weekends)- OR, if your Box Office is also run by BOCS give them the Box Office number.
