The ITA has decided to make an electronic copy of its LINK Newsletter available FREE to everyone. Each month the LINK contains a bio on one of Perth's theatre community (this month you can have an insight into Katy Mitton, winner of the Finleys Best Director award), a list of what's on and auditions, some interesting tit-bits on theatre in general and the occasional joke. It's FREE, support it, contribute and it can only get better. If you'd like a copy send an email to linksubscribe@docuprint.com.au and put subscribe in the subject line, you'll receive your electronic copy in the second week of every month

The E-LINK

In today's mobile age of laptops and palm pc's this has got to be a great way to expand the horizons of the ITA and Community Theatre in general.

I sincerely hope that this E-zine is in addition to, rather than at the expense of, the current "hardcopy" version that we all know and relish reading because I for one quite like recieving the hard copy that I am able to pack up and take with me to get AWAY from my computer...

Perhaps for those that don't want or can't have it in their Inbox (due to limited server mailbox space or whatever) a link could be provided on this web page to send them to the new E-LINK? Alternatively, maybe a copy could be made available on this site?

I don't think a "LINK link" would detract too much from the subscription quantities and it would provide an instant connection for those using limited acces web based email clients such as the freebie versions of Hotmail and Yahoo.

Again, I think this is a wonderful idea and will be a huge boon to our community. Kudos to the ITA and in particular to Alan Morris who has picked the LINK up, dusted it off and (in my opinion) recreated it as the best Community Theatre tabloid in Wwestern Australia.
