Just saw the news, and apparently Underbelly is being banned from screening in Victoria - presumably because it would bias any sort of trial/ongoing investigations. Here's an article: http://www.theage.com.au/news/tv--radio/judge-scratches-underbelly/2008/02/12/1202760255184.html

Mmmm and it was the one

Mmmm and it was the one piece of Television that I was really looking forward to as well. Other states still get to see it though. ____________________________________________________________ Currently working on: 'Locked In' a short play based on a real life experience For more details visit: www.freewebs.com/lazycreationsgroup

This is not really a ban

This is not really a ban but an injunction to avoid any possible affect on a court case. It's an interesting issue because of the issues of censorship. Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing. www.tonymoore.id.au

I'm more interested in

I'm more interested in this: Why did Channel Nine want to showcase the series before the trial had finished? Wouldn't they get just as much interest in it when it's over, and the results are being reported - there's not much publicity of the trials at the moment, whereas when the verdict is handed down, you can guarantee there will be a lot. It could be that the courts

It could be that the courts have done exactly what 9 wanted them to. Thus generating much free publicity for the show. Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing. www.tonymoore.id.au
