If you see a concert at Government House Ballroom, is the seating raked? Is there a stage? I'd like to see the Australian String Quartet, but my companion is very petite and we are wondering about sightlines. BOCS could not help. Does anyone know the venue. Thanks for your help.

Seating is on the floor

Seating is on the floor normally

yep

seating is on the floor, and the quartet will likely be on the stage, which is slightly raised. If you're up the back you might have trouble seeing anything, but this venue's sound is stunning. I personally think that I'd rather listen to this kind of ensemble in a good acoustic, than look at them anywhere! hope this helps Nev It's the simple things stupid...

Thanks for your help

We have booked seats. My daughter is a keen violinist so she is keen to see as well as listen..so hopefully she will be able to do that.
