If you plan to work in the

If you plan to work in the UK or Europe your life will be much simpler if you hold an EU passport. And yes if you are entitled to both Australian and UK passports you may hold both at the same time. One of your parents must have been born in the UK and be a British citizen. Enquire with the UK consulate in Canberra or the High Commissioner who is I beleive in Melbourne. With an EU passport granted by the British Government you can travel and work throughout all nations of the EU without a visa. I can't answer your question about the US. Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing. www.tonymoore.id.au

Funny

It's very funny; I was just talking about this today. As Logos said it is a benefit if you hold both an Australian and British passport (I hold both) and it’s always helpful if you want to work overseas...but in regards to the US it’s a whole different kettle of fish. You need a Green Card to work over in the USA and getting one is VERY difficult. I would suggest if you are sincerely interested in working in the US that you contact the American Embassy and look at the process of getting one. Hope this helps Keep Smiling :) David Green DRAGON FILMS www.davidgreenenterprises.com (P.S. Don’t go into any “Green Card Lottery”) ;)

Holders of Australian

Holders of Australian Passports can enter but not holders of British Passports. Unless that has changed recently. Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing. www.tonymoore.id.au

Thanks for that I think

Thanks for that I think I'll suggest my girl gets the Australian one for now and then see what her plans are from there

Not always

There is a sight that lets you enter the greencard lottery without paying. Any site that asks for money is a scam, but there is a lottery that is genuine. It's called the Diversity Visa Program. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1322.html

I guess I should point out

I guess I should point out that you are not entitled to enter the green card lottery if you are entitled to have a British passport whether you have one or not. This also applies to other countries and has applied to Australian citizens at various times. Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing. www.tonymoore.id.au
