Yes you are right. It is about play choice. I cannot speak for their marketing as I live in a different state but I have just gone through this frustration myself. It is not wise to do 1/ Any new work, and I get the impression this is fairly new. 2/ Australian plays written by anyone other than Williamson. (PS I like his plays but he's not Australia's only play wright. And before people mention Cosi OK he didn't write it Nowra did but that is the exception that proves the rule.) 3/ Something that isn't a comedy. This doesn't mean we shouldn't do these plays, of course we should as many as possible, but tell me why don't people come. I had good reveiws for my show in Adelaide, this has had good reviews. It isn't just the marketing. God bless you for trying guys. Your reviews that I have seen are fantastic. If I lived there I would come and see it. All the best. Is that all there is?
