Orion Media Australia is Australia’s leading; IPTV, 3G TV and digital arts film and television studios. We specialize in new media with an emphasis on green screen and digital special effects for international distribution.
Orion Media creates the world’s largest Green Screen micro episodes film/video productions.
The “microsodes” are used internationally in films, television, ads, IPTV, 3G TV and emerging online and mobile digital media.
We are a high volume production studio and therefore offer constant acting work for our existing casual actors and new faces.
THE POSITION
We are looking for ‘on call’ Models, experienced Actors and new entrants to the industry for ongoing contract acting work producing long term residual income.
Our volume productions require all nationalities, sizes, looks and ages - from children to seniors and in between. We also require parents with children plus family and social groups including special interest groups.
Scripts are written for your look, special skills and interests to bring out your strengths and minimize weaknesses. We also accommodate no dialogue parts if you’re a model only or group actor.
HOURS
Hours negotiated to fit your existing commitments.

Amazingly enough, it looks as though this company is a TV/film production company, not an agency. Though from the description of the work, it sounds a little sus. (Who actually writes pieces to fit the actor? I've never heard of such a thing before. But hey, Michael, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

Actually I think that sounds like an interesting concept-
People that regularly read over my plays for me quite often identify that parts seem to be written 'for' my friends...or point out their characteristics are similar to people that appear regularly in the pieces we perform.
Writing for an actor would be handy because you wouldn't show their weaknesses- only strengths. And wouldn't have to search for the almost perfect person to fit a role.
I do think it is interesting.
Actually now that I think of it Boy Banned's characters were written around the TLCG guys as we knew who would be involved before the script.
This of course sounds like it's on a pro level, but that's just my thought on the matter.
Anthony Rapp from Rent fame had many of the parts of his character Mark written specifically for him, especially to note the song 'Living In America'.
Again...just my thoughts, could be wrong.
Interesting concept though.

What I meant was that it was unusual to have a film/TV production company to create roles for actors. It's more common in theatre than in TV/film.
