ITA State Dramafest 2007- Opens Tonight Come along and support community theatre! Our host club this year is: Garrick Theatre Meadow St, Guildford Session times are: Friday 28th Sep 7.30pm Saturday 29th Sep 10.00am, 2.00pm and 7.00pm Sunday 30th Sep 10.00am, 2.00pm and 6.00pm Tickets for Dramafest are $5 per play, or $15 for a session. It's an awesome showcase of mixed talent and heaps of fun too! For further enquiries phone Melissa on: 0404 913 018

DramaFest Weekend

Make sure you get on down to  the various sessions at the Garrick Theatre in Guildford over this long weekend to be witness to the showcase of talent on offer in WA community theatre.

Mr Ingle Knight will be adjudicating each and every production from the dozen or so theatre groups entering the festival.

Friday Night session at 7.30pm

The first session of the ITA State One Act Drama Festival will showcase three productions starting at 7.30pm.

Play 1:  "The Boy Comes Home" by AA Milne, directed by Jean-Marie Pasquier - Garrick Theatre
Play 2: "The Bear" - Arena Arts & Entertainment
Play 3: "Fleeting Treats" by Julia Jarel, directed by Claudette Ridout - Playlovers

Check out Theatre Australia tomorrow morning for Saturday's line up.

**Please remember not to park in the carpark behind the stirling arms hotel, plenty of street parking along Meadow St and nearby.

WEEKEND DRAMAFEST PASS

Hmmm... $5 per play, $15 per session...Could work out to be a bit pricey.

Is there a season (weekend) pass available and what would the cost be?

 

Life is one huge deep end.... Dive right in and swim!

There is season tickets, but I am not sure how much they are. Best bet is to talk to Christine.

This morning at DramaFest we saw "Johnno's Story" a drama by Burce4 Denny, directed by Melanie DeCull - Garrick Theatre "Grete" a drama written and directed by Peter Flanigan - Stirling Players "Heaven's Above" a comedy/drama by Noel O'Neill, directed by Patrick Abbott - Irish Theatre Players The afternoon session is on as I write this and "Mary Lambert RIP", a drama comedy by Siobhan Wright, directed by Denice Bryne - Irish Theatre Players "Henna Night", a drama by Amy Rosenthal, directed by Peter Kirkwood - Harbour Theatre "No Strings Attached", a comedy written and directed by John Grimshaw - A Lad Insane Tonight at DramaFest - session starts at 7pm "Indian Summer" a drama by Lucy Maurice, directed by Dannielle Ashton - Playlovers "Agnes" a musical by Michael John La Chiusa, directed by Priscilla Busher - Roleystone Theatre "Sandcastles on the Beach", a black comedy by John McColl, directed by Nicola Bond - Harbour Theatre "Enmity", a drama written and directed by Scott Northover - Blak Yak Enjoy... DramaFest - Monday

A fabulous weekend of 22 one act plays performed at the Garrick Theatre over the weekend... today at 11am we find out which shows, individual performances and local playwrights stood out and excelled. Mr Ingle Knight has had an intense weekend adjudicating every production and his dissertation and the presentation of awards will take place at 11am today. Good luck to all. Melz
