The Green Room is an independent television series about
WA community theatre. 

It is a community based life-style program catering to a wide and general audience which airs weekly on Tuesdays at 7.30pm on Access 31 TV commencing 2 October 2007 repeating Saturday mornings at 10am

The Green Room promotes and reviews all that is connected with community theatre in Perth. The show features theatre clubs, their performances, members and facilities.  Each episode draws attention to a specific theatre club, showcases the range of talent on offer by individuals connected with community theatre, reviews productions, promotes up and coming performances and discusses issues connected with productions.

The Green Room started production in April this year, gathering content for the show and seeking out potential stories on the strong and diverse range of community theatre clubs, nonprofit and amateur associations along with interviewing well known experienced theatre individuals that grace this state. 

The Green Room is produced independently by BJ Media Productions and co-hosted by Louis Shepherd and Melanie DeCull. Along with guest reviewer John Flood, The Green Room will be recording live from the Constance Ord Lounge at the historic Old Mill Theatre in South Perth.

The Green Room is being offered as a community program open to non-profit clubs and amateur associations. The Green Room is a non funded voluntary production, designed to showcase and support community theatre in Perth.
