Romeo and Juliet
Shakespeare's Most Famous Theatrical Triumph
Directed by Douglas Sutherland-Bruce

Romeo and Juliet opens this Friday - 31st August at the Marloo Theatre in Greenmount (home of the renowned Darlington Theatre Players)

I attended a rehearsal a week ago and witnessed one of the scenes from this classic Elizabethan tragedy of love, passion and death in old Verona. With spring on the doorstep, what better way to welcome in the frisky season than to view and absorb this beautiful love tale.

Talking about frisky... Director Douglas Sutherland-Bruce has carried through with his intentions of presenting this classic as how Shakespeare would have intended it. Real and genuine sword fighting, an outstanding cast delivering the classic 16th century language for all to understand, and there is nudity... yes nudity!

I am giving you the heads up, book your tickets for this show, because as soon as the word spreads after its opening, you are going to find it tough to get a ticket.

Starring: Derek Clauson and Katy Mitton as "Romeo & Juliet"
Bookings are through BOCS 9484 1133

Marloo Theatre is situated on Marloo Rd, Greenmount.
for more information go to Darlington Theatre Players listing on this website or www.tazentertainment.com.au
