Make Your Own Fun: SydneyCalling NSW performers!Finding work a bit scarce? Want to work in the industry, no matter what – even if it means learning new skills, trying things you’ve never tried before like directing, producing, acting or managing? Like to learn how to move from film to theatre, production to scripts, acting to producing? Make Your Own Fun is designed for performers like you. This latest addition to Equity’s professional program is aimed at performers who are trying to get their own project and productions up and running, or who are thinking they might like to develop other tools in their arsenal – like writing, directing or producing.

The events features two panels of experts to assist you achieve your goals.

1) Making it happen:

People who have real experience in getting out there and making their own shows happen

Speakers:  Leon Ford, Actor, Writer, Director, Eva Di Cesare,   Monkey Baa, Theatre for Young People.

2) Nuts and bolts: 

Leland Kean, Artistic Director, Tamarama Rock Surfers Theatre Company

Linda Tizard, Head of Development and Investment, NSW Film and Television Office (FTO)

Jeremy Sims, Performer, Producer, Director 

Representative of Metro Screen, MC and Chair:  Queenie van de Zandt, Peformer
