To Kill A Mockingbird (the play)
from page to the stage
Based on the Pulitzer Novel of the same name, playwright Christopher Sergel and Harper Lee transport the audience into a time of racist struggle and conservative values.
Set in Alabama in 1935 during the Great Depression, the play is lived through the eyes of Atticus Finch’s children, Scout and Jem.
The layers of sub-plots to the story draw the audience into the drama and lives of the town folk of Maycomb County. It is a rich yet simple story where justice is never black and white.

Thank you
Thank you so much for your kudos. I play Miss Stephanie, the town gossip and will endeavour to get Boo Radley's (aka Craig's) contact details for you.
I'm sure he will be delighted to be considered for your short film.
I'll speak with him tomorrow.
Cheers! :)

Good show
I really enjoyed the show. The sets were great and there were a few stand out performances. Notably that of the young woman breaking down in court and the character of Miss Stephanie was a delight to watch as well. But i think the director needed to spend some more time with some other lesser roles. Also, sometimes the accents were a bit funny... more work could have gone into that as well. But overall it was a really tight production and one of the best plays i have seen in non-professional theatre in a long time.. Great job guys

Final Show
This show was on par with some of the professional productions in the city. It was a full house last night and the audience all stayed awake - unlike some of the other productions at the Campbelltown Theatre where you want to slash your wrists before the end of the performance.
Well done all the actors and especially to Byron Philips the director. It was a very special night.
Ps. I didn't pay. I snuck in.

To Kill A Mockingbird
I saw this amazing production 2 times. I was so blown away with the play the first time I saw it and just had to go again. It is a pity it could not run for a longer season because there are a lot of people I have talked to who have missed out. The director has done a fantastic job with the show and casting. Those children were fabulous and my favourite was that little "Dill". He added the comedy edge that this type of dramatic production needed. Again thankyou for a memorable experience.
