monologues and costuming

I am reciting a monologue as part of a audition. It is Viola's monologue in Twelfth Night (i left no ring with her).. i
have been told to where a costume that will not limit my movement. So basically something that adds to the character but
is not distracting.
Any suggestions???

Fri, 8 June 2007, 10:06 pmWell, at that point of the play, she's already dressed as Sebastian - so you want to go with something that's not overly feminine. Pants tucked into flat boots, and a button-up shirt with rolled sleeves? Nothing too modern or too historical.
A baker boy cap would work well too, with your hair tied back, as long as the cap's not obscuring your face.
