Extra Agencies in Melbourne

Hi! i was just wondering if anyone new what the good and bad modelling and extra egencies in melbourne are? I just moved here from canberra and have heard a lot of different info. A lot of people are saying that blackbox mangement are bad, is this true? If so, what are some good agencies to consider joining? Thanks! Desa

I think people have a big conception that there are 'bad' and 'good' agencies out there...which i guess you could say is true to some extent but i think it's better to think of it as there are some agencies thought of more highly then others but even the ones that are less thought of are still thought of and approached by the Casting directors, directors etc. Your agent helps you get work but doesn't do ALL the work. If you are proactive in finding work, making contacts and getting jobs then it doesn't matter what agency you are with. In going back to your question, I have heard that Central Talent Agency, Jill's Casting Agency and Fotinis Talent are all highly thought of.
