Marloo's Book Launch & "My Very Own Story"

Tonight I attended Darlington Theatre Player's Book Launch of "It'll Be Right On The Night" which was officially launched by local member Jaye Radisich MLA - followed by the opening night performance of Alan Ayckbourn's comedy "My Very Own Story" directed by Katy Mitton.

The book launch was a fabulous success, with so many faces of theatre that one hasn't seen for such a very long time.  The book is a tremendous effort by all those involved and congratulations on a thoroughly entertaining book that celebrates and takes a look at the rich history of DTP's 50 years.

Then it was time to go into the auditorium, find your seat and cosy up with your hand crafted blanket provided on each and every seat.  The show began - and what a hoot !!!
Incredibly clever and totally hilarious, I can not remember the last time I laughed soooo hard!!
Joe Isaia, Dan Mitton and Adrian Wood play the three story tellers who have been triple booked to entertain their audience with their own unique, one of a kind story...
The audience were in fits of laughter throughout the evening.  Take a trip up the hill to Greenmount to see this terrific show.
