Class Act Theatre (Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Lysistrata) team up with Bare Naked Theatre Company (As You Like It, Romeo & Juliet) to bring Perth and country audiences a two hour version of this brooding and powerful Shakespearean masterpiece - rarely performed in WA. Othello tells the story of a black man in a white society, a story as meaningful and pertinent today as when it was written four centuries ago. Directed by arguably Perth’s most experienced director of Shakespeare, Stephen Lee, this minimal but powerful production is already booking fast. Starring Ian Bolgia, David Meadows, Dan Luxton, Angelique Malcolm, James Davies, Stephen Lee & Kim Walsh.
