Hi Everyone Well, its been nearly one week since Star Power was launched. Star Power is a fantastic new competition/ challenge for youth in WA aged 16-25. Our website is www.starpowerwa.com.au and our myspace is www.myspace.com/starpowerwa We need to get the word around to everyone so all of those people who are involved in community theatre in WA, this is your competition too. It is out aim to try and introduce more people to community theatre in WA as part of this challenge. If you could pass the information on to everyone you know, that would be great. Everyone needs to know that entries close on the 12th June , so you need to get started now. I hope we have hundreds of interested young people finding out more about community theatre as a result of this competition. Please tell everyone you know. Kerri

So this thing has totally

So this thing has totally replaced that STORM THE STAGE competition that used to be around in the past few years, has it?

Not Official

I don't believe so. This is a seperate initiative independant from Storm the Stage from my understanding.

Hi Candi

Hi Candi Star Power is completely different to Storm the Stage. Storm the Stage is for people aged 16-19 only. Storm has no training element Storm has no workshops Storm has no audition prizes anymore. Bevan Lee has left Storm the Stage and has taken the television connection with him. Star Power has all of those things now and the possibility of a documentary to be screened on Channel Seven in december. It is also for people aged 16-25. We also have the owner of the largest Casting agency in Australia, Ann Fay as one of our judges, along with Bevan Lee ( creator of "Home and Away" and Channel Seven Script executive). I dont know what has happened to storm but I know we are definitely here. www.starpowerwa.com.au

Not sure of the name

It feels too idol to me, But I suspect it is a far more interesting and useful project than storm. I look forward to seeing how it goes. Nev It's the simple things stupid...
