Mandurah Little Theatre REMINDER - AUDITION FOR ‘We Will Rock You’ Musical By Queen & Ben Elton INFO Auditions For the Auditions of the Main Leads an audition pack may still be available by ringing Karen Francis on 9535 9396. . Audition pieces and character's songs are included in the pack. For minor leads, backing singers, principle dancers and chorus singers & dancers turn up to auditions. Main leads and Backing singers will be auditioned separately to chorus etc but at the same venue on the audition day. Chorus etc will be sectioned into age groups for the dancing audition. Wear cool comfortable clothing (no skirts). Bring Water Bottle and Lunch. Cool drinks, coffee, tea and snacks are on sale at the venue. Venue: Mandurah Senior College P.A.C, Carleton Place Mandurah (Off Gordon Rd, next to Peel Tafe) When: Auditions are 1st of April 9am sharp. Rehearsals The rehearsals will be approx as I don't have the exact times. Tuesday night approx 6.30pm - Acting -Main leads only to start, minor leads as required. Wednesday night approx 6.30pm - Singing- Backing Singers, Chorus and Leads. Sunday late afternoon approx 4.30pm - Dancing - Chorus dancers and principle dancers only to start with then Leads further down the track. Once all the dancing is sorted, Sunday turns into a main rehearsal day where ALL are required including the crew. (This information could change slightly) Where: Rehearsals and Auditions will be at Mandurah Senior College P.A.C, Carleton Place Mandurah (Off Gordon Rd, next to Peel Tafe) Performances 25th August (Saturday) Bunbury Regional Arts Centre. 8pm show. All cast and crew will be required to be at the centre by 11am for Tech rehearsal. Own transport is required. Most cast and crew usually car pool from Mandurah. 31st August (Friday) and 1st September (Saturday) Kwinana Arts Centre. 8pm shows. All will be required to be at the centre by 6pm. Tech rehearsals will be on Tuesday or Wednesday night (28th or 29th). Own transport is required. Most cast and crew usually car pool from Mandurah. 6th September (Thursday), 7th September (Friday) and 8th September (Saturday) Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. 8pm show for each night PLUS a Matinee on the Saturday (that is two shows on the Saturday, 2pm & 8pm) Tech rehearsals will be on the Monday and Tuesday night (3rd or 4th).
