Melbourne Classes / Agencies

Hey, I know there are a lot of threads on here, I have done a search to no avail, Please recommend me a good acting class to do this year, I am first year uni so whats the best course (short curse or part time) to build skills in acting for tv/ film. Also what would be the best agency for me to try to get into at the end of this year, im 17, singer for 11 years, dance (jazz) for 2 years but im fairly new to straight acting, ive done music theatre before. ... There are plenty of threads that cover this... but... If you want a course for TV/film/acting, you will want to consider: VCA (both their full-time and short courses - occasionally NIDA does some short courses in Melb as well); Monash, Deakin, RMIT... there's heaps around, just search for them. Drama Victoria have a good list; contact them. NMIT and Swinburne offer similar courses that are aimed at theatre, but do give you some basic skills in all areas of performance (tech included) and are often a stepping stone into other courses. They also provide short courses. You should also check out schools and companies, as they often provide one-off or continuing classes on weekends and evenings.
