Source of announcement
I checked this out on the Department and Government pages, but found nothing: where was this announcement made? Mind you, the Qld Govt pages are some of the most difficult to access online materials. But, there was no announcement in today's Gov't releases. I checked Google news: nothing. Likewise Sensis.
Cheers,
Jim

Well Done HomerJ
My hat goes off to you my friend :) You stuck with your gun's and they paid off. Well Done ;)
They burnt me when I first started out and its good to see them not being able to get anyone else.
Any word if those who they stole money off will get anything back? I would assume probably not...but well done again HomerJ

Ha.
Frankly, I'm glad.
NOTM would not leave me alone. Honestly. They called and left messages for me at least twenty times, but they seemed a shady operation (this was before the general comments made here, about them), so I decided against it (despite my mother insisting that I was 'passing up an opportunity'). Aren't I glad I did, now!

about NOTM
yeah... i was burnd too, i contacted fair trading and i had the chance to sue but its too complicated and for 150 bux isnt realy worth it, fair trading did mention to me the exposure on today tonight... i was relieved to hear they had closed down, apparently darcy allegedly closed the agency... but after finaly coming into contact with darcy after like 6 months, he tells me hes givin NOTM to a larger agency?? it also states this in the contact details on the notm site. one that will 'look after its clients' seems odd, there suppose to close down right? well thats what he told qld fair trading... damn, there is alot of conspirisy behind this lol...but i found a real agency, 2 actully... i recently moved to qld with my uncle, and have met both agencys, vox talent, and faye rolph models, these are the guys people should be getting with... the real deal... dont go through the internet, if you wanna get serious about this then get serious and dont be lazy :P, get out n find a real agent, one with a based office... we all learn from our mistakes so that we hopefully wont repeat those mistakes...i know that i have learnt from my mistake, and it came at a cost. but what doesnt in life? you screw up, you pay the price...
i wish everyone the best for the future...:)
