Next Tuesday - all about auditions

Hi Everyone Just a reminder that next Tuesday night at 7.30pm at Lotteries House - 2 Delhi Street in West Perth, UPstageWA is holding its first panel discussion for this year. Entitled "All About Auditions", this panel will discuss auditions in their many forms and look at many different aspects of auditions. Rebecca Davis, Stephen Lee, Craig Williams and Kimberley Shaw will discuss auditions and their particular take on them. What does a good audition consist of? How do you know what to prepare for an audition? What amount of information should a club give out about an audition? What does a director expect in an auditionee? What should a director expect in an auditionee? What should an actor expect of a director at an audition? All these questions and lots more will be addressed on the night. Stephen and Kimberley will be directing shows later this year and this will be a great chance for anyone thinking of auditioning for them to find out what it is that they look for at an audition. Get a head start on the others! Places are unreserved for the panel discussion and tickets are $5.00. On the night there will be a reservation list for the following masterclass on auditions to be held on the 13th Feb 7.30pm at the same venue. If you book AND pay on the night, you will be able to access the class for only $10, that is a $5.00 saving. Places are numbered for the workshop so the first in will get the places at it . You would be well advised to come along to the panel discussion in order to secure your place at the workshop. See you there!
