UPstageWA - first panel and class for the year!
Thu, 25 Jan 2007, 12:28 pmHi Everyone
Well, its getting closer. The first panel discussion for the year for UPstageWA will be held on Tuesday 6th Feb at Lotteries House - 2 Delhi Street in West Perth. It will start at 7.30pm
Our panellists will include Craig Williams, Rebecca Davis and Stephen Lee.
We will be looking at auditions this time. What does a director look for in an actor at an audition? What should an actor do to prepare for an audition? How should an actor present themselves at an audition? What type of auditions could we encounter ?
Cost is $5.00 and by attending the panel discussion you will be able to register and pay for the master class the following week. You will receive a $5.00 discount if you pay on the night of the panel discussion. Which means that you will be participating in a master class on auditions for approximately 2 hours for $10.00! What a bargain!
For people who can't attend the panel discussion, we will only be opening up the master class if there are any spots left after the panel discussion night.
The master class will also be at lotteries house and will start at 7.30pm It will be held on Tuesday 13th Feb.
We look forward to seeing all of you at what should be a great panel discussion. We can promise you a fairly lively debate on this topic!
See you there!
Kerri
Wow, that was quick!
Thu, 25 Jan 2007, 09:17 pmWithin ten minutes of sending this notice out, I have already had people writing to me and telling me that they are going to pay for all of the classes and discussions up front at the first one!
Don't say you haven't been warned. We can only take so many people in the masterclasses so be prepared. If you book early, your place is reserved for you.
