Wowee !! What an outstanding night!!

The performances by all the State Finalists were tremendous - congratulations to each and everyone of you!!

The performances by the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra and The Australian Opera Studio were also outstanding.
We were also treated to Dr Huruhisa Handa dedicating the song 'Danny Boy' to Dr Geoff Gibbs - what a voice!

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond her control, Jill Perryman was unable to attend and adjudicate tonight's National Grand Final.

The adjudicator's were: Mr Bevan Lee, Tom Gutteridge and Diane Eden (Qld Arts Mentor).

THE WINNERS OF STORM THE STAGE 2006 ARE:
Claire Lovering (WA) - Winner Best Drama performance
Kristyn Bilson (QLD) - Winner Best Musical Theatre performance
Evan Dowling (TAS) - Exclusive Audition for Channel 7's Home and Away and All Saints

AMAZING NIGHT!

WOW! It is definately competitions like this that allow the displaying of young talent to prove that Australian theatre will be in good hands! Last night's show was amazing. The level of talent was outstanding. Congratulations to all those who entered, those who made it onto the Burswood stage last night. A huge congratulations to the three winners. All very deserving. :flowers:'s to all. And to all a good night. ~ Tari The Writer is a child forever listening at the keyhole of the adult world.
