UPstageWA is up and running. Master classes are now available

Hi Everyone Well our first panel discussion was held last night and it was a great success. Thank you to the people who turned up. The panellists were entertaining, interesting, inspiring and thought provoking. The Master Class with Stephen Lee ( based on how an actor should approach a text) is now open for bookings. As there is a limit that we can take and as bookings opened last night, there are only 5 places still available for this class. The details are: Date: Tuesday 24th October, Venue: St. Norbert college , Xanten Centre , 135 Treasure Road, Queens Park. Time 7.30 - 9.30pm. If there are enough people who wish to attend this class, we will open another one later but that will depend on numbers. We were delighted to announce last night that a new master class will be run by Stuart Halucz. Stuart spoke very well last night about the acting styles and and approaches he saw at Dramafest and will base his very practical master class on exercises and tips designed to help some of the problems he saw arising from Dramafest. For anyone who was involved in Dramafest, this will be an invaluable Master Class. At only $15.00 and with numbers strictly limited ( and most of the places gone already ) it would be very wise to contact us immediately. Date: Monday Nov 20th. We are very excited about this venture as there were so many great ideas and suggestions last night about more panel discussions, different topics, what people would like to see running as Master Classes etc. If you have any thoughts on this , please dont hesitate to contact us at upstagewa@yahoo.com.au .
