The passing of a great man

A sad day indeed. Many may have never heard of him, especially those residing over east. Allow me to point you towards something to help describe this man and his influence.

Geoff Gibbs was a delightful human being and a magnificent teacher. His passing is an enormous loss to all of us - both those lucky enough to have known him, and those unlucky enough not to have. He is already missed. DM

A great friend

For many years I sat opposite this amazing man on the Lotterywest Arts Advisory Board. His depth of knowledge of the industry was a major contribution to this committee. I will miss his wonderful sense of humour, his numerous emails and unsigned postcards from around the world. So many have been influenced by his passion for the arts. Condolences to Carol and his beloved family. Heather from Esperance

Geoff Gibbs

It was my priviledge to work with Geoff on several shows. His sense of fun is something I shall long remember and his ability to squeeze every last laugh out of every given bit of script! His energy and drive made the Academy of Performing Arts a reality. An inspired teacher, director, actor, colleague and family man. My condolences to Carol and family
