Actors needed for Short Film

Hello all! We are in desperate need of two actors to fill key roles on a short film being produced by Edith Cowen University. The film is a dark comedy, titled APPLE AVENUE, and is dependent on the energy and strength of the key characters. The plot moves quickly, and we are looking to have fun with the script and incorporate improvisation and musical sequences. The plot revolves around a young real estate agent (JARED) who falls in love with a house. To prevent people buying it, he creates an elaborate murder that befell the home's previous owner. However, things soon spiral out of control and before long, our poor real estate agent is being accused of the murder he created. We are currently casting the following roles: DETECTIVE ROBERTS (35- 50): A focussed, humourless man who is immediately suspicious when he arrives to inspect the property on APPLE AVENUE. He has an intimidating precense, and a fierce determination that ultimately unravels JARED's devilish plans. JOHN RIGHTEOUS (40- 55): The unfortunate, kind hearted previous owner of the house that JARED 'creates' to make the fictitious murder seem all the more brutal. He must have an innocent, loveable appearance.
